The Origins of Team DogPowered
Looking to give back to the community, a group of service dog partners thought it would be fun to do Walk MS with the dogs who enrich our lives. And meaningful too since quite a few people in the group have MS. Some walk unaided but slow, some with a cane, some use a scooter or powerchair - but all are DogPowered!
We also thought it would be fun to invite our non service dog friends to join us. A whole team of dogs, some with jobs and some with the job of being a cherished family pet. But all walking together to help find a cure for MS.
2009 was just the beginning for Team DogPowered. We hope to have more team members and raise more money in future Walks.
